User data deletion

You can ask PokerDesk to delete your account and associated personal data. Requests are currently handled manually by MN River Invest GmbH so identity and scope can be checked safely.

MN River Invest GmbH operates PokerDesk and handles these requests as the responsible controller where applicable.

How to request deletion

  1. Email privacy@pokerdesk.io with the subject PokerDesk data deletion request.
  2. Write from the email address linked to your PokerDesk account where possible. State that you want the PokerDesk account deleted and mention whether you used Facebook or another external sign-in option.
  3. PokerDesk may ask for proportionate information needed to confirm that you control the account. Never send your password, a Facebook access token, payment-card details, or identity documents unless PokerDesk specifically explains why a document is legally necessary and provides a safe method.
  4. After verification and completion, PokerDesk will send confirmation or explain any limited information that must lawfully be retained.

Requests are handled without undue delay and normally within one month of receipt. PokerDesk will request any necessary identity clarification promptly. If applicable law permits more time for a complex request, PokerDesk will explain the extension within the initial month.

What the request covers

A verified account-deletion request normally removes or irreversibly disconnects:

  • the PokerDesk account profile, email address, display name, profile-image URL if present, password hash, and marketing-email preference if present;
  • active sessions and unused account verification or password-reset records;
  • saved account preferences, trip plans, plan notes, and selected events;
  • stored external-provider links, including the Facebook user identifier, name, and email received for sign-in.

PokerDesk does not retain the Facebook access token after sign-in. Removing PokerDesk from Facebook's app settings may stop future Facebook access, but it may not by itself tell PokerDesk to delete an existing PokerDesk account. Use the email process above to request deletion from PokerDesk.

Information stored only in your browser

A Barcelona plan and some preferences may exist only in local storage on your device. PokerDesk cannot identify or erase browser-only information remotely because it was not uploaded to an account. Remove it through your browser's settings for site data or cookies for pokerdesk.io. Clearing that data may also sign you out and reset your saved language.

Limited exceptions

PokerDesk may retain the minimum information required to meet a legal obligation, resolve a dispute, prevent abuse, or establish, exercise, or defend a legal claim. The deletion correspondence itself may be kept for those limited purposes and is not used for marketing.

Restricted continuity backups are not used for ordinary product activity. If deleted data remains in a backup that cannot immediately be altered, it remains unavailable for ordinary use and the deletion must be re-applied before restored data is returned to ordinary use, subject to an overriding legal duty.
