About PokerDesk

Built for poker players who travel.

PokerDesk is a planning tool for live poker players: tournament schedules, saved trip plans, hotels, flights, activities, study prep, and action sheets in one place.

About Martin

Poker player, traveler, software builder.

PokerDesk is built by Martin Nielsen, a Faroese professional poker player based in Austria.

Martin has spent years traveling for live poker series across Europe, Asia, and the US, playing events on major tours including EPT, Triton, WSOP, and other international stops. He has lived the exact problem PokerDesk is trying to solve: planning live poker trips across scattered PDFs, casino websites, hotel tabs, flight searches, WhatsApp groups, markup sheets, and last-minute schedule changes.

Before poker, Martin worked as a software engineer, and PokerDesk brings those two worlds together: the practical mindset of a poker player and the product-building mindset of someone who understands software.

The goal is not to create another generic travel affiliate site. PokerDesk is meant to become the tool Martin wished existed before every live series.
